Contract and Payment Process
1. Consultation and Design. I will schedule a time to meet with you to
discuss the overall project and site selection. Once we discuss the basics I
can generate drawings of the project. This usually takes 2-3 days. Then,
we can make revisions to get the design just how you want it. The initial
drawing is free, after that I charge $40 an hour for design time.
2. Sign a contract. I will go over the contract details with you. This will
include all the design details and options, as well as the anticipated start
date, and any other issues that need to be covered.
3. Start Date. Projects are scheduled on a first-come first-serve basis. Our
crew will work on your project from start to finish. We do not hop back
and forth between jobs. Small jobs take about a week, and large jobs take
about 2-3 weeks.
4. Deposit. If your start date is more than two weeks away from the time
we sign the contract, then you will need to make a 15% deposit. The deposit
is non-refundable. This will secure your spot in our schedule.
5. Payment. The payment is 50% up front and 50% upon completion.
The first 50% must be paid two weeks prior to start. If you have already
paid a 15% deposit, the remaining 35% will be due.
